RISE offers the following classes:
RISE GROUP X CLASSES
Highly varied line-up of classes designed to make you look and feel your best. The experienced instructors will motivate you to get in shape and have fun doing it! All classes suitable for all levels: cardio yoga, mat Pilates, zumba, yoga flow, cardio hip hop, barre, HIIT, tai chi fusion and kickboxing. Group X classes are included in Rise Wellness Center membership.
RISE SMALL GROUP TRAINING CLASSES
Our highly skilled, experienced and certified trainers use the Rise equipment and your body to create a training program that is tailored to your needs, your body and your life.
We currently offer the following group training classes:
Bootcamp: This small group training class will focus on an integrated, client focused training that focuses on weight training, strength conditioning, core conditioning and overall endurance. You can burn calories, improve your heart health, boost your metabolism and increase your muscle strength! Open to all levels & modifications will be provided if asked for. Bring your own water and mat (optional).
Yoga: Need to recharge and relax your body and mind? Come to a yoga class with one of our amazing instructors while they take you through a series of postures, focus on breathing techniques and sometime meditation. Each instructor aims to exercise your body in a way that it becomes more fit, flexible and balanced, and promotes your emotional well-being. All levels welcome. Bring your own mat and water.
Mat Pilates: Mat Pilates is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body, primarily the muscles of the core, which span from your hips to your shoulders. Mat Pilates is done on the floor using an exercise or yoga mat and employs controlled breathing during body weight resisted movement to build core strength. All exercises can be modified and all levels are welcome! Bring your own mat and grip socks.
Barre Fitness: Barre Fitness is an invigorating workout that will change your body! Barre relies on isometrics (a series of small, controlled movements that are done while keeping your body still). Barre-based workouts have been toning and shaping celebrity bodies for years. Strengthen and lengthen your muscles and transform your body by combining the elements of ballet and Pilates with this awesome workout! All levels welcome!
The classes are limited to 10 participants so the instructor is able to offer form corrections, modifications and encouragement! Pre-registration is required, as well as a completed waiver.
RISE REFORMER PILATES CLASSES
The Pilates reformer program at Rise is based on the principles of Joseph Pilates and aims to improve core strength, posture, balance and flexibility.
We currently offer the following Reformer Pilates classes:
Reformer Pilates: Our small group Pilates Reformer classes utilize spring-controlled resistance to build core strength, increase flexibility, endurance and coordination. Our classes focus on full body fitness that can be faster paced with smooth transitions and flow. We will provide cues to help you control and pace the movements through multiple sets and reps so you ‘feel the burn’. Instructors will use various props to keep it interesting and fun! Props can include the box, mini ball, light weights, jumpboard, or resistance bands.
HIIT Reformer: HIIT Reformer is a dynamic, fast-paced Pilates Reformer class that includes creative combinations of fluid non-stop movements, combining Pilates fundamentals in strengthening and mobility with cardio intervals to provide a full body workout. This class will provide the benefits of core strengthening, endurance, improved balance & control along with increasing your heart rate to burn calories. All Props and the jumpboard will be used and exercises can be modified. Stay hydrated!
Cardio Reformer: Cardio Pilates incorporates traditional Pilates with energetic movement that will increase your heart rate. In addition to using the jumpboard this class uses props that make you feel the burn and includes elements of body conditioning, strength training and Barre. This class has a quicker pace than our regular reformer classes and will leave you feeling energized and probably a little sweaty! Stay hydrated!
Reformer Stretch & Strengthen: Our Reformer Stretch & Strengthen class combines flexibility and stretching with the benefits of Pilates exercises that work to strengthen the core, back, and shoulders. Enjoy the slow pace, deep breathing, mindful breaks and stretching.
Grip Socks are required for class participation (you can purchase a pair in the studio), and a completed waiver.
