The Rise Clinic offers the following therapeutic services:
At Rise Bodyworks in Alameda, our chiropractors/ART practitioners work with a variety of techniques including cutting edge chiropractic, active release techniques, physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation.
Rise Bodyworks was founded by John Beall in a small Alameda storefront in the summer of 2010 with nothing but a lifelong dream and rock-solid determination. John was determined to build a studio where his clients and patients would experience the transformative power of an integrated and approach to physical health and fitness; where people would be inspired to become strong, and motivated to take charge of their health and well-being. Since then, Rise Bodyworks has grown into an award-winning gym and clinic with fitness and Pilates studios, but John still loves working directly with his clients and patients on achieving their health and fitness goals.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Beall has been involved in health, fitness and rehabilitation for over 26 years. He attended San Francisco State University for his undergraduate studies in Exercise Science, and then completed his Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S) and a Master Active Release Techniques provider (A.R.T.), and uses protocols from a wide variety of techniques including SFMA, DNS and McKenzie method. John is a master level manual therapist and rehabilitationist.
In his spare time, John likes to enjoy California’s natural beauty surfing, snowboarding, competing in triathlons and riding his mountain bike in the hills, often accompanied by his loyal sidekick Halle.

Graduated January 2007 from Everest College formerly known as Bryman.
The school is in San Leandro, and specialized in one on one training in
Spa and Clinical techniques. Aleta is a Certified Massage Therapist
(CMT) with insurance from ABMP. She has 4 years of experience of a
private practice that targeted mostly on each clients rehabilitative
needs or the Chiropractors. 5 years she’s been an Independent contractor
that helps alleviate body pain and tension with her style of massage.
Aleta has learned different therapeutic modalities of massage to help sooth and alleviate muscle pain. She maintains the philosophy of Holistic Healing, being able to take care of ones self and maintain wellness. Her massage style is a combination Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy and neuromuscular therapy. Swedish is a relaxation-type massage that is very soothing, Deep tissue deals with moving muscles with deep concentrated pressure. The last two modalities are more rehabilitative: Trigger point therapy targets your ‘pain spot’ aka hypertonic ‘knots’; where a small area of your muscle is contracted. Neuromuscular therapy is almost like deep tissue except with alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle pain or strain.Aleta Graduated in January 2007 from Everest College, specializing in one on one training in Spa and Clinical techniques. She has 4 years of experience with clients assisting with the rehabilitative needs of Dr. Beall’s patients.
